Take a look inside a warm minimalist interior
An interior that radiates calm, yet still has character. Denise shows how the right foundation, a green sofa, and smart styling can create a warm and personal space.
Calm base
Denise has been living in her home for four years now, and her interior style has evolved along the way. The foundation has always remained minimalist and Scandinavian, with light colors, natural materials, and a calm layout of the living room. By taking a fresh look at the space, room was created for a sideboard that perfectly matches the TV unit and brings more balance to the seating area.
“I naturally love budget tips, but I also like to invest in beautiful furniture that I’ve saved up for.”
Warm en green
Where the interior was previously quite sleek and Scandinavian, Denise opted for more warmth and a subtle touch of color. Think of a neutral base combined with green tones, plants, and natural home accessories. This combination creates a Japandi-like atmosphere: calm, warm, and balanced.
The addition of alabaster accessories and linen coffee table books adds extra depth to the interior.
"My interior is a warm, calm base with a touch of green."
Sofa as an eye-catcher
The seating area forms the heart of the living room, with the modular Molli sofa of By SIDDE taking center stage. Denise discovered the sofa via Instagram and became inspired by various interior images and showroom videos. She hesitated between several colors, but ultimately chose a green fabric—a choice that adds both warmth and a true eye-catcher to the interior. In the showroom in Leerdam, she tested the seating comfort and the configuration.

The modular sofa can be arranged flexibly and fits perfectly within a modern living room. Thanks to the additional element, the configuration can easily be adjusted, even into a separate armchair. The fast delivery time from By SIDDE made the choice even easier.
“What I love about the sofa is that it has two corners, so you can both stretch out comfortably.”
Styling and tips
According to Denise, the strength of a good interior lies in its foundation. If you choose a strong seating area, a comfortable sofa, and calm colors, you can endlessly vary with home accessories, cushions, and decor.
She enjoys drawing inspiration from interior trends, but stays close to her own style. Plants are essential and create that fresh, natural feeling in the home.
Her most important tip? Dare to make changes. Sometimes just one piece of furniture, like a sofa, can already make all the difference in your living room.
“Tired of beige? Go for a colorful sofa and your entire interior will immediately feel different.”
