What is the delivery time?
Delivery of sofas, hockers and headrests:
Your ordered item will be made for you directly in our factory. It will be delivered to your home within 2-3 weeks. You can select your preferred delivery date in the ordering process. Delivery to the Wadden Islands is not possible. (If there are different delivery times, this will be stated on the homepage)
Delivery of rugs, cushions and coffee tables:
We have your ordered item in stock, which is why we can ship it to you quickly. You can therefore expect the item within a few days. You will receive a track & trace to follow the shipment.
What are the delivery costs?
Your ordered By SIDDE sofa, including additional ordered items, will be delivered to your home for €99. Our carrier will place the sofa in your home so you can enjoy your new By SIDDE sofa straight away.
When you order a separate footstool, headrest or other accessory, it will be delivered via parcel service. This costs €6.95 for deliveries in the Netherlands and €9.95 for Belgium.
If you are not present in the home at the time of delivery, or if the sofa cannot be delivered because it cannot travel the route, the cost for the second delivery is €99.
Does the sofa need to be delivered with a moving lift? The cost of a removal lift is at your own expense. It is possible to arrange a removal lift through the carrier for deliveries in the Netherlands, the cost for this is €195. As soon as your order has been processed further, you will receive an e-mail from our carrier TSN regarding the delivery. Via this e-mail, you can add an extra service, such as a removal lift. This notification must be made no later than 4 working days before delivery.
What should I do before the sofa is being delivered?
Before delivery, it is important to check carefully whether the sofa ordered can be placed in the house.
The drivers always come in pairs and place the bench in the desired location. The space where the sofa will be placed must be cleared. The drivers do not move any existing furniture in the home.

Can I select a delivery date?
Yes, you can select your preferred delivery date in the ordering process. Delivery is possible on Monday to Saturday in the Netherlands. In Belgium, delivery takes place from Tuesday till Saterday.
It is possible to plan up to 6 weeks in advance via the order system. Is your desired delivery date further in the future? Then select the latest delivery date and email info@bysidde.com after placing the order. Indicate when you would like your order to be delivered and include your order number. We will send you an e-mail confirming the change.
When will I receive a time slot of delivery?
Delivery of sofas:
One working day prior to delivery, around late afternoon, you will receive a time period via e-mail from our carrier TSN. This is a 2-hour period. For deliveries in Belgium, on the day of delivery, you will receive a text message and an e-mail containing a time period for delivery. This is a 2-hour period.
Have you ordered an accessory in combination with a sofa. This will be delivered together with the sofa you ordered.
Delivery of hockers, headrests, rugs, cushions and coffee tables:
Your ordered item will be sent to you by parcel service. You will receive a track & trace via e-mail as soon as the package is on its way to you.
Can I reschedule the delivery date?
You can reschedule the delivery free of charge up to 1 working day before the indicated delivery date before 11:00 am. Please send an e-mail to info@bysidde.com, mentioning your order number.
When you are informing us to reschedule the delivery after this time, a cancellation fee of €90 will be charged. The delivery is then already planned by our carrier. Another time will be arranged in consultation.
To which floor do you deliver?
Our carrier will deliver your ordered sofa up to the 4th floor, provided it is easily accessible. Higher than the 4th floor is only possible if there is an in-house lift in which the sofa part(s) can fit.
If the sofa is to be delivered by stairs, please measure the height and width of the stairs carefully. So that the sofa can be delivered to you without any problems. If in doubt, please contact us.
If there is no indoor lift and the sofa cannot be delivered by stairs, it may be possible to use a removal lift for delivery.
Can I arrange a moving lift for delivery?
By our Dutch carrier TSN, it is possible to arrange a removal lift. The cost for a removal lift is €195, these costs are at your own expense. As soon as the delivery is confirmed with our carrier, you will receive an e-mail from the carrier. Via this mail, you can add an extra service, such as a removal lift. This notification must be made no later than 4 working days prior to delivery.
Through our Belgian carrier MTC-Trans, it is possible to organise a lift for deliveries up to and including the 8th floor. You can request this from MTC-Trans by e-mail or by telephone: info@mtc-trans.com / 0032 - (0)2512 9432 quoting your order number. Charges for a lift in Belgium are on request and must be paid to the drivers at the time of delivery by bank card.

Can I return my old sofa?
In the Netherlands and Belgium, it is possible to return your old sofa via carrier for a fee. The cost for the Netherlands is €49 per sofa and the cost for Belgium is €12.50 per sofa part.
For the Netherlands our carrier will confirm the delivery, you will receive an e-mail from the carrier. Via this mail, you can add an extra service, such as the recycling of your old sofa. This notification must be made no later than 4 working days prior to delivery.
For Belgium you can write us an E-Mail, info@bysidde.com, for this extra service. Please send this E-mail at least 4 working days before delivery.
In which countries do you deliver?
We deliver to the Netherlands, Belgium, France, Germany, Austria and Poland. Delivery to islands belonging to the aforementioned countries is not possible.
Do you deliver on islands?
No, we do not deliver to islands. Delivery is only possible on the mainland. There is also no possibility of service in terms of stain guarantee or construction guarantee on islands.
How is the sofa packed?
Once your sofa is made, it is packed for deliveries in the Netherlands in a reusable textile furniture cover. An environmentally-friendly packaging that we can use again and again.
Do you want to store the sofa temporarily? Then we can pack the sofa for you in cardboard and plastic. Please send an e-mail with this request to info@bysidde.com.Â
For deliveries in Belgium, the benches are packed in cardboard and plastic. The sofa will be unpacked at your home and the waste material will be taken away immediately.
What if I am not at home during delivery?
If you are not present in the residence at the time of delivery, the cost for the second delivery is €99.
