A peek into the warm interior of Floor @washplate
It's been a year since we visited Floor from @washplate where sofa Nord was shining then. Since then, the family has been enjoying Finn's element sofa. Time for a new peek inside!
A warm and minimalist interior
The soft minimalist style is still seen in living rooms. Sofa Finn in Simply Beige suits this perfectly. Something that has remained unchanged is the love for DIY projects. The living room is filled with beautiful, home-made objects, from 3D artwork to a wooden room divider.

DIY projects
The DIY project that Floor has remembered most has to be the wall element with the standing cabinet. This stands by the seating area. The lower part consists of a frame and panels on which a compartmented cupboard is placed on the left. People still ask frequently about it and followers are curious about the approach to this cabinet.
Hands on
Floor is certainly not done yet. A new project is planned for the living room, namely adding mouldings along the ceiling. ‘We hope to make the whole thing a little less sleek this way and bring back a bit of the 1930s,’ she says. Work is also being done outside the house. On the wish list is making a partial pergola in the garden.
Element sofa Finn
Corner sofa Nord gave way to element sofa Finn set 2 with a separate element.
One advantage of the element sofa is that you can vary the arrangement in the room. At the moment, the separate element is by the gas fireplace. The children find it a nice place to watch TV.
A creative outlet
That Floor likes to be busy is now apparent. From DIY projects, she often makes reels for on Instagram to inspire followers. She also writes blogs and engages in photography assignments. The blogs and photography are a creative outlet and both related to interior design and lifestyle.
Good intentions
Besides from all these fun projects, Floor also greatly enjoys doing fun things together with her family. Like outings, going on holiday and watching along the line at football. A good intention for 2024? A better balance between exertion and relaxation. More fine moments together as a family and making beautiful memories.
